This material has been a fun way to begin to show the relationship of how multiplication works. We mix this material with physical counting blocks so that the students can physically manipulate the math problem making it tangible and easily understood.
Our young friend accidently knocked all the pieces down. His older classmate offered to help put it back together. Team work and impromptu learning projects.
